Ty Wiberg,

Board Member and Athlete Rep

Ty Wiberg serves on the board of directors for the Midwest Adaptive Nordic Foundation. An accomplished athlete, Ty has been competing in para cross country since 2018 and para biathlon since 2020. He has proudly represented Team USA in multiple World Cups and continental cups. Currently, he trains with the Crosscut Elite team in Bozeman, Montana, aspiring to compete in the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games.

In addition to his athletic pursuits, Ty is a junior at Montana State University, majoring in Community Health with a focus on becoming a relationship and family therapist. Beyond his academic and training commitments, Ty actively promotes awareness of parasports and advocates for greater accessibility to outdoor activities for individuals with disabilities.

Having grown up in Wisconsin, where he often had to travel long distances for adaptive sports, Ty is deeply passionate about making recreational activities and parasports more accessible, particularly in the Midwest and beyond. He values the strong community of passionate and kind individuals that para nordic skiing has brought into his life and hopes to provide similar opportunities for others to experience the same sense of belonging and support.
